Medical/Bio/Cosmetics

Our high-precision liquid dispensing systems are useful in the medical, biotechnology, and cosmetic fields.
It improves quality and stabilizes process control, and even expensive reagents and cosmetics can be applied without waste, significantly reducing costs.

Spraying reagent on tissue section (test reagent)
problem

Tissue sections have very fine structures, with subtle differences depending on the part. By uniformly spraying (staining) reagents, the same staining reaction is performed on different parts of the tissue, ensuring consistency in diagnosis and research. Existing equipment has problems with uniformity and may not be able to properly stain tissue sites. In addition, there was a lot of waste of reagents, and there were also problems with efficiency.

Benefits

By introducing a micro-volume, micro-pressure coating system, we were able to control the spray with high precision without scattering, and were able to apply the spray uniformly to the tissue. Additionally, the amount of required reagents could be minimized, reducing costs. This has improved the reliability of test results and made it possible to obtain accurate information, contributing to the advancement of medical care and scientific research.

Introduced products

Spray valve SV91

Using a small amount of low pressure air, it is possible to apply accurately in a mist form. A combination of liquid flow rate adjustment, nozzle air adjustment, and subsequent air stop time allows for highly accurate spray control without scattering.

  • No overspray or splashing
  • Adjustable fluid flow rate

Apply a 1mm wide line of water-soluble reagent to the test paper (immunochromatography method)
problem

In the production of antibody test reagent kits, a water-soluble reagent is applied to a test strip in an extremely thin line. These reagents contain specific molecules (usually antibodies or antigens) that react with the target substance you want to detect, and are very expensive. We would like to minimize the amount of residual liquid, but with the current equipment, there is a large amount of residual liquid, and expensive reagents are wasted.

Benefits

By using a jet dispenser, we were able to apply very expensive reagents without wasting them. The nozzle structure minimizes dead volume, allowing expensive chemicals to be used until the end, and customers have praised the product as ``significantly reducing costs.''

Apply a minute amount of UV adhesive to the needle and hub.
problem

The needle and hub of a medical injection needle must be reliably bonded to prevent separation and breakage. However, with existing equipment, it is difficult to accurately apply adhesive in ultra-small amounts, and uniform application of adhesive is not ensured, resulting in variations in product quality.

Benefits

By introducing an ultra-fine dispensing needle valve, it has become possible to stably apply liquids down to 1 nanoliter. The coating process was able to proceed efficiently because there was no dripping and the system could be shut off reliably. This has improved the reliability and sealing properties of parts, improving the quality and safety of medical injection needles.

Introduced products

Applying silicone/epoxy adhesive to the ceramic parts of the IV bag
problem

Intravenous bags are critical to ensuring a safe supply of liquid medications. However, there have been problems with variations in the amount of adhesive applied at the connection parts and problems with adhesive dripping. These problems greatly affected the sealing properties of the connections and increased the risk of liquid leakage. If fluid leaked from the connection, the wrong amount of medication could be delivered to the patient, potentially impacting the efficacy and safety of the treatment.

Benefits

The introduction of a needle valve for minute application has made it possible to control the amount of application. Additionally, there was no more dripping of adhesive, and the amount of adhesive applied at the connection area was stabilized. This improved the sealability of the IV bag and reduced the risk of fluid leakage. Improved accuracy in drug delivery to patients, ensuring safety and effectiveness of treatment.
