  • As smartphones evolve, devices have become more compact and thinner, and the space available for installing speakers has become limited. For this reason, a minute coating pattern and coating at precise locations were required. Existing equipment could not meet this demand.
  • When applying two-component adhesives, it is difficult to maintain an accurate mixing ratio of the base agent and hardening agent, which may result in failure to ensure proper curing.

  • By using a positive displacement dispenser and a precision-molded nozzle, we were able to dispense an ultra-small amount to a precise location.
  • A high-precision dispenser was introduced to mix the two-component adhesive in precise proportions. By being able to adjust the optimal transfer amount of the base agent and curing agent, accurate mixing and uniform application were achieved, ensuring quality stability.

As the lens parts of camera modules evolve, the requirements for high precision in the coating process are increasing. However, with existing equipment, it is difficult to apply uniformly to minute areas, resulting in variations in line width and, in some cases, defective products due to protrusion into the inside of the lens.

The introduction of a precision nozzle enables minute discharge, and the precision machining of the tip and smooth inner surface make it possible to achieve highly accurate and uniform application. Furthermore, the chamfer-shaped tip reduces the adhesion of the paste material and enables stable application into narrow spaces, improving product quality.

Applying a small amount of UV adhesive to bond the image sensor cover glass

  • The UV adhesive application process for bonding cover glasses is extremely precise, requiring extremely small amounts to be applied to small areas. Existing equipment was unable to accurately apply ultra-fine lines.
  • In this application process, uniform application of the liquid is extremely important as it affects performance and appearance. If the application is unstable, the thickness and thickness of the adhesive will be inconsistent, which may affect the strength, optical properties, and appearance of the adhesive.

  • Using a high-precision automatic vision dispensing system, accurate reference point recognition and repeated dispensing position settings are now possible. It has been possible to apply ultra-small amounts of UV adhesive to precise locations.
